Get Ready for a Deliciously Fun Birthday Experience!
We’re so excited to celebrate with your child! Below is everything you need to know to prepare for an unforgettable, hands-on cooking birthday party filled with laughter, learning, and lots of yummy creations!
Party Overview
Here is an overview of what to expect on the day of your child’s birthday cooking celebration:
Our 1–2 chef instructors will arrive at your home or chosen location 30 minutes to 1 hour before the party to set up. The chef will bring all ingredients, equipment, uniforms, and cooking materials required for the session.
Cooking Time
The hands-on cooking portion lasts 1–2 hours, depending on the recipe and the children’s skill levels. During this time, the kids will prepare their dish under the guidance of our experienced chef.
Take-Home Dish or Dine With Friends
Once the cooking is completed, children will either take home what they made in a provided take-home container or enjoy their product together with friends—your choice!
Party Ware
We no longer provide party hats, dinnerware, or party supplies.
Please have all party wares (hats, plates, napkins, cutlery, serving items, etc.) ready at your home.
Birthday Child Gift
The birthday child will receive an official Nini’s Cooking Academy chef uniform, which includes:
- Chef coat
- Apron
- Cut-resistant glove
This is our special birthday gift to them.
Flow of the Party
When kids are not actively cooking, they may enjoy another activity with the parent/host—such as opening gifts or playing a game—while the chef resets the station.
Afterward, the children will return to complete their culinary project.
Celebration Time
Once cooking is complete, the chef will hand the group back to the host to:
- Sing “Happy Birthday”
- Cut the cake
- Play music (optional)
- Let the kids enjoy their treats together
Cleanup
Following the class, our chefs will fully clean up your space, leaving your kitchen just as they found it.
